Dubai celebrated the 25th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival with a 38-day programme of shopping promotions, innovative experiences, live entertaining and brand activations for all the family.

Scope of work

JAM was contracted to provide event safety and crowd management consultancy for the 25,000-person concert series.

  • Input into safe site design for emergency access and barrier configuration.
  • Liaison for sign-off of third-party structures.
  • Review of all safety-related documentation from suppliers and contractors.
  • Delivery of Event Safety Management Plan for sign off from DTCM and Civil Defence.
  • On-site monitoring and management of safe working practices for the construction phase in conjunction with the event production team.
  • Design of crowd management and access control system.
