Gamers8, the world’s biggest e-sports and gaming event, takes place in Riyadh with some of the world’s top players. Aramco is a strategic partner of this summer’s show-piece and a title sponsor of the Aramco SIM Arena, a simulator zone for racing enthusiasts to compete in daily community tournaments.

All the action unfolds alongside festivals, concerts, shows, and other events in Riyadh Boulevard, as part of Riyadh Seasons.

Gamers8 focuses on four main pillars: Professional e-sports, festivals, music, and The Next World Summit; an e-sports and gaming conference that brings together sector leaders and experts from around the world.

Scope of work

JAM was initially engaged by Pole Position Events in KSA to provide expertise on staffing and HSE elements of Aramco’s activation for Gamers8. As discussions evolved, JAM became the primary agency selected to provide all Live-event staff for the Aramco SIM Arena:

• Project planning of all staffing activities.
• Recruitment and training of all live-event staff.
• A project length of 61 days including training.
• Provision of 40 multi-skilled, multi-lingual, public facing team members.
• Locally supplied project management, with extensive experience in managing large staff teams for long periods of time within KSA.
• Provision of reception staff, ushers, registration staff and supervisory roles over two shifts for the duration of the project.
• Daily reporting on all staffing challenges alongside dynamic problem solving.
