Dubai Expo 2020

Details

Expo 2020 was a US$8 billion project hosted by Dubai for six months starting in 2021 and closing in 2022. Several years of planning, design, building and on-site operations preceded the launch with the construction of 192 national pavilions and a host of signature pavilions.

JAM provided event professional staffing solutions for several pavilions during the build, live and dismantle stages over four years. Across the project JAM delivered services directly for country pavilions, event agencies, build contractors, food and beverage vendors and entertainment companies.

Scope of work

An example of some of JAM’s deliverables includes:

ENOC Pavilion

The ENOC pavilion consisted of an immersive sensory journey through five separate buildings that showcased cutting-edge event technology.

Prior to opening, JAM provided a number of highly skilled professionals to turn the new construction into a live operating venue.

During the six-month live phase the ENOC team, provided by JAM, delivered the day-to-day running of the venue, navigating through the additional complications that COVID-19 brought to the event. JAM provided teams in four key areas:

  • Venue operations consultants
  • Pavilion management team
