The Saudi Tourism Authority launched its Saudi Summer Programme in 2021, offering experiences for local and international tourists at some of the country’s best destinations, from the shores of Jeddah to the cooler mountains of Taif and Baha. The collection of simultaneous events took place across the region at 10 live sites with 15 HSE specialists from JAM delivering the full safety framework and management system over a span of 90 days of live activations.

SCOPE OF WORK

JAM was contracted directly by the National Events Centre in KSA to create and deliver a safety management system and framework for the operation for the KSA Summer Season:

• Create a project safety framework structure
• Assist the project delivery team with all site recces and advise on the suitability of sites
• Advise on-site design
• Review safety documentation of all event organisers and contractors
• Assign 15 HSE advisors to work with suppliers and oversee the build, live and dismantling of sites
• Provide daily audits of all sites with corrective procedures
• Close liaison with National Events Centre project managers for each site
• Implement and manage accident and incident response for all sites
• On-site HSE training for project teams
• Ongoing consultancy and advisory.
