The 5th edition of the Mother of The Nation Festival featured six zones of family fun with a packed schedule of ongoing live entertainment including an amusement park, thrill zone, music venue, food hub and shopping district. The festival attracted 140,000 guests over ten days of live operations on a site that spanned over 1km in length.
Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the event focuses on family, community and the contributions of women to society.
Scope of Work
JAM was engaged from planning through to event breakdown with:
- Site design safety planning including guest and emergency capacity calculations.
- Delivery of comprehensive Event Safety Management Plan
for submission to DCT, Police and Civil Defense. - Providing an onsite delivery team of 10+ event safety
advisors and crowd managers. - Supplier safety auditing and documentation review.
- Meeting attendance and advisory for DCT, Police and CID for live operations.
- Liaising with Abu Dhabi Municipality for on-site handover and
dilapidation processes. - On-site build and de-rig health and safety monitoring, reporting and advising while reassessment of the event safety planning was on-going.
- Live event crowd management and reporting.
- MOC set up and management.
