Now in its fourth year, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place in the historic port city of Jeddah on the Red Sea.  The night race, on the Jeddah Corniche, is the fastest street circuit on the Formula 1 calander and in the history of the sport.

JAM provided a team of 10+ for the build, live and break phases:

Scope of work

JAM was contracted by the Saudi Arabian Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and Saudi Motorsport Company across a three-month period for planning, preproduction, live operations and breakdown

• Full HSE project management for the overall event delivery, including the F1 concert oversight
• Delivery and implementation of event safety operations and safety plan
• Overall crowd management venue and risk analysis
• Crowd management plan, emergency strategies and training development
• Strategic crisis control and crisis communication planning
• Setting contractor technical requirements and management of all build elements on-site
• Management of engineering company for third party sign offs of all structures
• Specification, set up and operation of JOC
• Site-wide fire safety management
• On-site safety compliance monitoring
• Fire safety management
