The second edition of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix took place at the end of March 2022 in the historic port city of Jeddah on the Red Sea. JAM provided a team of 25+ for the build, live and break phases:

• Event Safety Team
• F1 Specialists
• Crowd Management Team
• JOC Team

Scope of work

JAM was contracted by the Saudi Arabian Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and Saudi Motorsport Company across a three-month period for planning, preproduction, live operations and breakdown.

• Full HSE project management for the overall event delivery, including the F1 concerts
• Delivery and implementation of event operations and safety plan
• Overall crowd management venue study, event study, risk analysis
• Crowd management plan, emergency strategies, briefing and training
• Strategic crisis control and crisis communication plan
• Setting contractor technical requirements and management of all build elements on-site
• Management of engineering company for third party sign offs of all structures
• Specification, set up and operation of JOC
• Site-wide fire safety management
• On-site safety compliance monitoring
• Fire safety management as per FLS planning.
