September 2019 saw the first UFC in the Middle East with the construction of a purpose-built temporary structure in Abu Dhabi. The construction phase lasted 70 days with 4 days of live activity including the headline fight and two nights on concerts including the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Scope of work
JAM provided a number of roles for the build and breakdown phases including:
- HSE consultancy and monitoring.
- Creation and submission of all safety documentation to the authorities.
- Providing a junior production manager working into the SMPro team.
- Providing a temporary structures specialist.
- Supplying a team of HSE onsite advisors for build and breakdown.
